Abstract

In the modern world one of the greatest threats for the natural cenosis and agrocenosis are plant species of foreign origin, which in term of agrocenosis are weed plants, and in natural cenosis are invasive plant species. At the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century synanthropyzation of flora and plants occupied the whole world, including Georgia. Its change is completely impossible. We clearly see the strengthening of colonisation of plants of foreign origin. Unlike in other parts of Georgia, the invasion of foreign plants continues more intensely in the Southern Kolkheti in Ajara florist region. According to literary references and herbarium materials, at the end of the 19th century there were 134 advent species, which grow by 30-40 species every 10 years. Consequently, today the overall numer is about 500 species.
