Abstract
The article consists of four parts. Holistically, it includes a rationale that management and command (including the theory of armed combat), used in hierarchical organisations, are an inherent part of praxeology. The content of the argument is preceded by an introduction pointing to the deficiencies within the meaning of the concept of praxeology. The next two parts (second and third) contain argumentation in favour of the need to consider praxeology in the general theory of management and command. The last part of the article is dedicated to the applications of praxeology in the general theory of combat (military and non-military). The article closes with a brief summary with references to the nature of the problem and the bibliography.
Keywords: management, command, efficiency, praxeology
