Abstract
The article discusses legal basis for control as an administering function in the process of economic organizations management in Poland. Legal basis for control was determined by the free enterprise act, 2004, and several detailed ordinance that followed it. However, today’s level of economic development in Poland is much higher by comparison, which calls for acceptance of new solutions in the area of economic enterprise control and grounding it on the basis of mutual trust between entrepreneurs and public administration authorities.
